Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park covering area of 5,072sq km is located at the northern end of Albertine Rift Valley. The park named after a breath taking spectacular waterfall on River Nile.

The park attractions include Murchison falls, river Nile with is hippos, crocodiles and other wild animals. The park received so many notable visitors like Winston Churchill who was followed by Theodore Roosevelt in 1909 during a hunting safari.

Murchison Park bisected by Victoria Nile racing down 80km of white water rapids before joining the remnant rift valley at Murchison falls.
