Queen Elizabeth National Park is the Uganda’s second largest national park with 1,978sq km. To the western side the park border with DRC, lying on the base of rift valley between Lake George and Edward. The park is home to wild animals include lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and bird species with over 550 species.
The park support life of Hippos, Elephant, Giant Forest Hog and Uganda Kob. All sighted around mweya peninsula. Launch trips on Kazinga channel offer great game and bird watching. Chimpanzee tracking is available in Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth, and guided walks in Maramagambo lowland forest.
